# Edisoft > EdiSoft is Australian-developed software that connects exporters to the Australian government's export documentation systems — NEXDOC (export permits and certificates from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry), the Australian Border Force's Integrated Cargo System (Export Declaration Numbers), and 1-Stop (Pre-Receival Advices) — so businesses can lodge and receive export paperwork electronically instead of manually. EdiSoft is used by exporters of dairy, meat, grain, seafood, wool, eggs, horticulture, and skins/hides from Australia, who are required to lodge export documentation electronically to obtain their certificates. The software is developed by Woodwind Systems (Bathurst, NSW) and runs in a Windows environment only. It is licensed as a flat fee per site per month, installable on a single workstation or server for multiple users at no extra charge, and comes in two editions: - **Standard** — Export Declaration Numbers (EDNs) from Border Force's ICS, and Pre-Receival Advices (PRAs) from 1-Stop. - **Premium** — everything in Standard, plus export permits and certificates via NEXDOC. Both editions include a help desk, all software upgrades, and unlimited users on the licence. ## Product - [Home](https://www.edisoft.com.au/): Overview of EdiSoft and why exporters need it. - [How it Works](https://www.edisoft.com.au/howitworks): The three government systems EdiSoft interfaces with (NEXDOC, ICS, 1-Stop Pre-Receival Advice) and how the two editions differ. - [Solutions](https://www.edisoft.com.au/solutions): Side-by-side comparison of the Standard and Premium editions and what's included with both. ## Getting Started - [Getting Started](https://www.edisoft.com.au/getting-started): Step-by-step guide to registering as an Integrated Cargo System client with Australian Border Force, obtaining a Digital Certificate, and installing EdiSoft. - [Try Edisoft](https://www.edisoft.com.au/try-edisoft): Request a working evaluation copy of EdiSoft (an invoice is issued on receipt of the installation link). ## Support - [Support](https://www.edisoft.com.au/support): Support documentation, OAuth setup guides for Microsoft and Gmail mail connections, the EdiSoft 3 / EdiSoft 4 software update changelog, and update downloads. - [Bureau](https://www.edisoft.com.au/bureau): Independent bureau service, run by ATEK Export Documentation Services, for exporters with fewer than four consignments a month who prefer not to run EdiSoft themselves. ## Company - [About](https://www.edisoft.com.au/about): Background on EdiSoft, which has supported Australian exporters' government documentation requirements for close to 40 years. - [Contact Us](https://www.edisoft.com.au/contactus): Helpdesk, sales/accounts, and development contact emails. ## Optional - [EdiSoft & Internet Information](https://www.edisoft.com.au/s/EdiSoft_and_the_Internet_20230309.pdf): Help sheet on EdiSoft's internet/connectivity requirements. - [Digital Certificates](https://www.edisoft.com.au/s/digitalcertificates.pdf): Help sheet on Digital Certificates used to authenticate with government systems. - [I/O Error Messages Information Sheet](https://www.edisoft.com.au/s/ioerror.pdf): Reference for common I/O error messages.
